Who is Dream Big Singapore®?
Dream Big Singapore ® is founded by Dr. (h.c) Jennifer Lim PN, founder of Thy Dreams Matter Pte Ltd.
We have had 2 record breaking seasons:
- Season 1 (6 Aug 2022), Largest display of Dreamboards with (857)
- Season 2 ( 1 Jul 2023), Largest collection of Digital Dreamboards (241), featured in the Singapore Book of Records.
For Season 3, we are partnering the Singapore Government Partnerships Office (SGPO), committed to creating 6000 dreamboards to celebrate our SG60 milestone.
Dr.(h.c.) Jennifer Lim | Dream Big Singapore
Dr. (h.c.) Jennifer Lim is the visionary founder of Dream Big Singapore, an initiative that empowers Singaporeans to define and pursue their aspirations through dream boards. Passionate about fostering meaningful goals, she aligns her mission with SG60’s theme, “Building Our Future Singapore Together,” inspiring a nation where every Singaporean dares to dream.
Her initiative has made history, setting Singapore Book of Records achievements in its first two seasons. In August 2022, she led the largest display of dream boards with 857 entries, followed by a groundbreaking collection of digital dream boards in July 2023. Now, in collaboration with the Singapore Government Partnership Office (SGPO), she is working to set new records by engaging communities in reflecting on national values and aspirations.
Jennifer’s vision extends beyond individual dreams—she envisions dream boards displayed in community spaces, weaving a collective narrative of hope and ambition. Through Dream Big Singapore, she continues to inspire Singaporeans to transform aspirations into action, shaping a future filled with purpose and possibility.

The Space For Dreams
During last week’s Siglap60 Carnival, an auntie approached me and asked gently if she could take part in the activity.
I smiled and said, “Definitely!” before sharing Dream Big Singapore’s goal for SG60, along with a simple explanation of how she could create her own dreamboard.
For the next 20 minutes or so, she sat quietly, carefully selecting stickers to decorate her board. Every now and then, I would gently remind her to include some words to describe her choices. She would nod thoughtfully and say, “I need to pick stickers that link to other stickers too.”
It was a joy to witness her so deeply immersed in the creative process—completely present, completely engaged. When she was done, I helped her take a photo with her completed dreamboard and reminded her to revisit it from time to time—to stay inspired and keep moving towards her dreams. She left the booth beaming, off to lunch, dreamboard in hand.
As we work towards the goal of 6,000 dreamboards, that simple encounter reminded me of something important: we all have the superpower to bring a smile to someone’s life. Every interaction matters. Even if it’s just five minutes, we can choose to hold space for another person—to listen, to encourage, to remind them that it’s okay to dream again.
